M&O Literacy Council provides one-on-one tutoring services and the educational support that students need to reach their potential. With personalized curriculum, consistent scheduling, and meetings close to home, tutoring services fit students’ specific needs and busy lives.

We Provide the Educational Resources
M&O Literacy Council provides all of the books and learning materials necessary for tutoring sessions for English language learners. To help cover the cost of materials, M&O Literacy Council requests a $20 donation from students. Tutors and students meet one-on-one several times a month at a local church, technical college, municipal building, or library.
Learn English, Get a GED & Reach Other Goals
Since its inception in 2012, M&O Literacy Council has been pairing adult mentors with students for English classes and other literacy programs. The volunteer-led nonprofit organization helps adults in Marinette and Oconto counties complete a GED, acquire U.S. citizenship, get a job, obtain a driver’s license, and reach other goals.
